Abstract

Recent developments in electrical impedance metrology across Europe highlight the increasing need for SI traceable, automated and accurate measurements over the 100 mHz to 2 MHz extended frequency range. This project leverages the world-leading expertise of European NMIs and universities to expand capabilities and to significantly advance accuracy of traceable measurements in impedance metrology. The overall aim of the project is to establish traceable and accurate impedance measurements over a broad range of frequencies to meet the demands in different scientific and industrial fields. This will further enhance EU’s leadership spanning materials science, sensors, energy distribution, acoustics, biotechnology, impedance instrumentation and quantum technologies.
