Abstract

Next-generation electrochemical energy devices such as redox flow or all-polymer batteries will play an important role in the future of sustainable energy. They can be widely used in portable electronics, electric/hybrid vehicles and stationary power stations. Funded under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie programme, POLYSTORAGE aims to establish a Europe-wide network to train 16 early-stage researchers in the field through doctoral programmes at local universities and in network-wide summer schools, workshops, conferences and research exchanges. POLYSTORAGE academic partners are internationally renowned for their research in polymer science and energy storage technologies. The project will also foster collaboration with industrial partners in the field of electrochemical energy storage.
