Abstract
FORTHCOMING will develop and test a data-driven and user-centric 15-minute city models for suburban contexts, learning from central city best practices. The final goal will be to boost the transition to climate-neutral, liveable, and inclusive cities through integration and digitalisation. The scope of our proposal is how ICT MaaS and LaaS tools can contribute to solve the existing problems in low to mid-density zones, optimising the uptake of the 15-minute city model by providing solutions to issues presented in the outskirts in relation to density, proximity, and diversity. In order to do so we will collect a portfolio of successful 15-minute city strategies and measures, develop a transfer methodology for customize solutions for urban outskirts and assess its performance through a number of KPIs developed alongside city stakeholders.
