Abstract
Europe faces accelerating climate risks, biodiversity loss, resource scarcity, and health inequities, while regenerative design remains fragmented across separate tools, metrics, and disciplines. The project advances a systemic, place-based regenerative approach by integrating parametric modelling, climate scenario analysis, microclimate evaluation, ecosystem service assessments, circularity and carbon accounting, and health-related exposure analytics into interconnected workflows. Complementing the digital dimension, innovative regenerative materials—nature-based systems, lightweight greening solutions, and carbon-positive components—are co-designed and tested in real environments. Five demonstrators and three replication sites validate integrated solutions through participatory Living Labs. Policy guidance, training, and regulatory roadmaps support broad adoption. The project enables climate-resilient, ecologically restorative, resource-positive, and health-centered neighbourhoods across Europe.
