WORKSHOP "What makes a successful academic CV? Manage your professional development: identify, prioritise and benchmark key competencies"

The workshop is aimed at reinforcing the success in funding programmes addressed to individual researchers, in which CV and track record are evaluation criteria (such as ERC, Marie Curie Actions), by providing useful tools for the management of personal professional development.

The workshop (held in English) is addressed to research fellows, researchers and professors of the Politecnico di Torino and in particular to those who are in the first ten years of their post-doctoral research career.

Participants will be guided through the self-evaluation of their own skills and training needs and will receive tools to plan objectives, identify progress and effectively communicate their skills to different stakeholders.

The workshop is led by the British company VITAE, with over 45 years' experience in enhancing the skills and careers of researchers.
During the workshop the "VITAE Researcher Development Framework (RDF)" will be presented and the skills related to creativity, critical thinking, reputation and impact will be explored in detail. RDF is structured into four domains covering the knowledge, behaviours and attributes of researchers.

As a result of the workshop, participants will draw up a personalized action plan.

To ensure an effective development the course is limited to 50 participants.
