Infoday European Research Council (ERC)

The European Research Council (ERC), through its different funding schemes (Starting- StG, Consolidator-CoG, Advanced -AdG), offers individual funding for frontier research on topics proposed by the researchers themselves.

The infoday, held in Italian and addressed to research fellows, researchers and professors of the Politecnico di Torino, will highlight the opportunities offered by the Programme, illustrate the key features of an ERC idea and profile, with a focus on the novelties introduced by the 2024 Work Programme, especially as to the evaluation criteria. The support offered to applicants and winners by the Individual Foundamental Research Grant Office – RIMIN Department (Research, Technology Transfer and Innovation) will be also illustrated.

The workshop, organised by the Individual Foundamental Research Grant Office, will be attended by Dr. Gearóid Ó Máille, ERC Scientific Officer, and three winners in the Physical and Engineering (PE) and Social Science and Humanities (SSH) fields, Proff. Francesco Scotognella (Politecnico di Torino), Massimo Leone (University of Turin) and Alessia Melegaro (Bocconi University).
