A significant opportunity to share experiences and prepare for the international mobility period: on May 22, the third edition of the peer-to-peer event organized by Unite! Alliance, "Let's Unite! Meet & Share", was held in room 1I. Over 60 students attended, both incoming and outgoing, demonstrating that internationalization and mobility are particularly relevant to the student community.

The initiative was launched as part of Unite!'s Community 5 and carried out by the working group coordinated by PoliTO and ULisboa, this year in collaboration with the Multilingualism and Multiculturalism (M&M) team of Community 4. It involved students expected to join the upcoming mobility programs all around the Alliance locations next year, allowing them to interact with students from Unite! universities in the Alliance who are currently at the Politecnico, or with those who have already completed a mobility period within Unite! The event aimed to develop the intercultural skills of the participants and contribute to the process of conscious internationalization in the Unite! universities, giving space and listening to the needs and interests of those participating in a mobility program.

The event, enriched by a wide range of activities, was organized by PoliTO International Mobility Service (INCAM Area) in coordination with the University Language Center (CLA) and with the valuable collaboration of SURE! (the Unite! students representatives).

PoliTO SURE! representatives introduced Unite! during the first part of the event, showing the opportunities it offers to the student community, such as the Unite! Seed Fund Initiative and the Unite! Research School 2025. The second session, coordinated by the representative of the M&M team, focused on the experiences of Unite! students currently studying at Politecnico, offering information and practical advice on preparing for departure, first impressions upon arrival in Turin, and the main differences observed in teaching and studying. This allowed the students to gain awareness of the mobility experience from a different perspective, but also to reflect on their sending university through the others’ gaze. Finally, in the last part of the event, outgoing students were able to find out about their destination university thanks to the presence of their peers from Unite! universities.
