The National Association of Foreign Student Advisers (NAFSA) Annual Conference & Expo is the benchmark event in the USA in the field of international higher education and the largest and most dynamic international educational event in the world.

This year, its 77th edition took place from May 27 to 30 in San Diego, with over 8000 people from more than 100 countries and approximately 400 booths from educational institutions worldwide, including Politecnico, which presented its courses and the many opportunities for USA students in Turin.

The theme "Purpose, Place, and Partnership" ran through all the events, emphasizing the essential commitment to creating sustainable opportunities for students worldwide through valuable partnerships, and promoting the sharing of different perspectives and innovative educational approaches.

In the “Study in Italy” area managed by Uni-Italia, which hosted 30 Italian institutions — including 23 universities — PoliTO met partner universities from all over the world and forged new international academic relationships.

Throughout the conference days, the stand welcomed among its guests Sara Pagliai from the Erasmus+ INDIRE National Agency, Luca Scotti, Legation Secretary of the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the MAECI, Giusi Condorelli, Scientific Attaché of the Embassy of Italy in Washington D.C., and Lorenza Errighi, Vice Consul General of Italy in Los Angeles. Their participation further highlighted PoliTO commitment and excellence in the higher education landscape. The NAFSA Fair also represented an opportunity for a visit to UC San Diego campus, a partner of Politecnico.
