Film competition “Manlio Armellini”

On the occasion of the Mountain Short Film Festival Milano CortAlp (Plus), in its third edition, co-organized with the association ALPI+MILANO aps and the Italian Alpine Club (CAI), idea and curatorship of Aldo Faleri in collaboration with the Alpine Design Course at the Milan Polytechnic School of Design, at which it was conceived with Roberto Boni, to be held on December 11, 2024 in Milan to coincide with the International Mountain Day, the “Manlio Armellini” Film Competition open to Universities by invitation has been announced.

The selection, out of a maximum number of 10 short films (the first ones to be registered) of the 'unique work for Poli Torino, the overall winner, will take into account originality; adherence to the chosen themes and inspirational values of CAI, with priority given to sensitive issues such as environmental sustainability, inclusion, biodiversity, impact on the 'environment.

The work selected overall winner of the Competition for the Polytechnic of Turin, as the best video among all participants, will be among the videos screened to the public during the Festival of CortAlp, will also compete for Awards and Special Mentions provided by sponsors.

Prizes
Are sponsor activities the prize to the overall first place winner for the Polytechnic of Turin and a mention to the unique second place winner for all categories, both financial reimbursement and outdoor experience of the First “4000” in the Alps for the winning team only.

Each of the participating Students (so also each participant in a group of authors for a maximum of 3 per group) should apply through the contact emails indicating the title of the Short, even provisional, to be modified before the deadline of November 15.
