Call for Applications | TADA Award 2026

The TADA Award is an initiative by TADA – The Architecture & Design Archive of the Department of Architecture and Design-DAD aimed at valorizing the work of students from the School of Architecture and Design of Politecnico di Torino with the additional objective of promoting to a wide audience the achievements of its School of Architecture and Design and fostering debate on themes and teaching methods.

The award is open to students in the Department of Architecture and Design at Politecnico di Torino and is divided into two sections, each open to both disciplines (Architecture and Design):
A - Section “Thesis”
B - Section "Courses"


Participation is open to:
  • Architecture field: students enrolled in a Master’s Degree Program in Architecture at Politecnico di Torino during the 2024–25 and/or 2025–26 academic years;
  • Design field: students enrolled in a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree Program in Design at Politecnico di Torino during the 2024–25 and/or 2025–26 academic years.
The Jury will select:
  • for section A - "Thesis" a maximum of six works.
  • for section B - "Courses" a maximum of four works.
The Jury may also assign a maximum of three honorable mentions for each section. All award-winning works will be published on the TADA website in the TADA Award 2026 section and exhibited in a public exhibition. Furthermore, the award-winning and mentioned works in section A - "Thesis" and in section B - "courses" will be published on the international platform Dezeen in an article in English including cover images.

Applications can be submitted through the dedicated form until 11,59 pm on 7 September 2026.
The jury will evaluate the projects by 25 September 2026. The award ceremony will take place during the openinf of DAD's year (1 October 2026) at Castello del Valentino, where the related exhibition will open in March 2026.
