From the Baroque period to today | Guarino Guarini's legacy, between architecture and cities
We report the opening of the exhibition intitled "From the Baroque period to today: Guarino Guarini’s legacy, between architecture and cities”, outcome of the course History of architecture and cities Lab A, a.y. 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.
The event will be held in the Sala delle Colonne at the Castello del Valentino from Tuesday 27 May at 5:30 pm, until Friday 30 May at 1:00 pm.
The exhibition shows some students’ works realized following the program and the case-study chosen for the Lab, “From the Baroque period to today: Guarino Guarini’s legacy, between architecture and cities”, because of the 4th centenary of Guarini’s birth in 2024.
The exhibition curators are Maria Vittoria Cattaneo, architect and researcher at the Interuniversity Department of Science, Design and Policies of the Territory-DIST, Elena Gianasso, professor at the Interuniversity Department of Science, Design and Policies of the Territory-DIST, and Carolina Grasso Bruno, exhibition setup assistant.
