Fondazione CHIPS-IT Presentation Event
On 8 April 2025 at 11:00 am, in Sala Agorà of incubatore I3P, in the Campus del Politecnico di Torino, Corso Castelfidardo 30/a, will take the presentation of the Fondazione CHIPS-IT, Centro italiano per la progettazione dei circuiti integrati a semiconduttori.
Relators will be the professor Enrico Sangiorgi (Member of the Supervisory Board) and the doctor Carlo Reita (Scientific Director).
Inaugurated in November 2024, the Chips-IT Foundation (Italian Center for the Design of Semiconductor Integrated Circuits) represents a key element of the Italian microelectronics strategy, strengthening, particularly, the microchip design sector. To this end, the foundation will coordinate research and design activities with public and private actors, making cutting-edge equipment and software available. It will also act as a national Competence Centre, helping to train new generations of talents who will work in the microelectronics sector. The private sector will play a key role in the foundation's activities, collaborating through partnerships of various types. Companies that have communicated, to date, their interest in participating in the foundation's activities include Analog Devices, Infineon, Intel, Inventvm, NXP, PSMC, SONY, and STMicroelectronics. The foundation is currently seeking qualified personnel to hire within its structures.
