Election day: 2025-2027 STUDENT ELECTIONS and 2025-2028 CNSU
2025-2027 STUDENT ELECTIONS:
By Rectoral Decree no. 348 dated April 1st 2025 the Rector called for student elections for 2025-2027.
The elections will take place on May 14-15, 2025, in person at polling stations via online voting.
The elections are being called to elect the following representatives:
- list candidacies - students (Academic Senate – student representatives, the Board of Governors, the Evaluation Board, The Equality Committee – student representative, The Joint Committee on Teaching, the Regional Student Assembly for the right to access Higher Education and the Sports Committee);
- list candidacies and individual candidacies (Collegi and Departmental Councils);
- individual candidacies of PhD Candidates and Postgraduate Students (Doctoral School – Representatives of PhD Candidates and Specializing Master Programs’s Students, Academic Senate – Representative of PhD Candidates, The Equality Committee – Representative of PhD Candidates – and Collegi di Dottorato – Representatives of PhD Candidates).
2025-2028 ELECTIONS NATIONAL COUNCIL OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS (CNSU):
The National Council of University Students (CNSU) is a national collegial consultative body representing students, composed of 30 members. This body is mandatorily consulted by the Minister of the Ministry of University and Research regarding matters or events of national relevance concerning education and student conditions.
According to the Ministerial Ordinance No. 42 of 30/01/2025, student elections will be held on May 14 and 15 2025.
The CNSU elections aim to elect:
- 28 members elected from among students enrolled in the 2024-2025 academic year in bachelor's degree programs, master's degree programs, single-cycle master's degree programs, or degree programs from previous academic regulations, in accordance with current legislation;
- 1 member elected from among those enrolled in Specializing master’s programs under both the former and current academic regulations;
- 1 member elected from among those enrolled in PhD programs under both the former and current academic regulations;
