Training for change: Educating for non-violence

The Comitato Unico di Garanzia (CUG) of Politecnico di Torino, in collaboration with the CUG of University of Turin, the Gender Studies Centre of Politecnico di Torino and the CIRSDe of University of Turin, invite the entire politecnic community to participate in the event commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The meeting, entitled ‘Training for change: Educating for non-violence’, is an opportunity to reflect and take concrete action on the promotion of a culture of respect and equality, through dialogue and the sharing of good practices and educational strategies.

Registration is required to attend the event:The day's events will continue in the afternoon. At 5.30 p.m., the Sportello Antiviolenza (Anti-Violence Helpdesk) will be inaugurated, set up in collaboration with the E.M.M.A. Onlus Anti-Violence Centre. The Counter, active since June 2024, is a fundamental service that offers support and a listening ear to victims of violence, addressing not only the entire Polytechnic community, but also the entire citizenry. During the inauguration, male and female students will join together for a moment of reflection and sharing.
The event is open to the entire Polytechnic community and will be held in the courtyard of the university's Main Campus, between the Help Desk and the Red Bench, symbol of the rejection of violence against women.
