Safe(r) Spaces
On Thursday 15 June 2023, the Safe(r) Spaces event will be held - at Sala Agorà I3P - a meeting organised by the Politecnico on the occasion of Pride month, with the aim of directly involving the Ateneo community by creating an environment of collective reflection on the concept of safer spaces for the LGBT+ community in the University.
After an introductory moment of the concept, people participating will be invited to share what aspects of the topic they find most important and would like to address within the meeting. Then, from the themes that emerged, they will be divided into working groups where they will be able to propose concrete solutions to the problems related to space management at the Politecnico, which they can also present through self-produced material. In the final part of the event, each group will present their proposals and will also be able to discuss them in plenary with some LGBT+ associations in the area. These proposals will then be presented to the administration so that it can take charge of them.
