Biography

Gianmarco Vallero is a PhD candidate at the Department DISEG. As part of his research activities, he has developed a visco-elasto-plastic constitutive model for snow. His work involves numerical modeling and the numerical implementation of constitutive models within finite element software for simulating laboratory tests and full-scale physical problems. Additionally, he conducts research in the field of hazard assessment, risk, and vulnerability related to landslide and avalanche phenomena.
