Biography

My name is Jacopo Colussi and I obtained the Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering at Udine University. I attended the Master degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Trieste, where I developed a thesis on the analytical non-linear study of an electric motor equipped with an innovative mechanical flux weakening device.
At the end of the Master Degree, I applied as a research assistant at the Department of Energy of the Politecnico di Torino where I joined the team of power electronics. The subject of my research focused on the feasibility study and the design of the control laws for Surface Mounted Permanent Magnets drives in an industrial environment.
Now I'm attending the second year of Ph.D. in Politecnico of Torino at the "Galileo Ferraris" Energy Department. My research activity focuses on feasibility study, design and control of an inductive-wireless power transfer system to charge electric vehicles.
