Biography

Chemical and sustainable processes engineer, with experience in research, consulting and production of bio-based materials and fermentation systems for waste valorisation, bioenergy production (H2 and CH4) and biochemicals recovery. Strong background in the use of pure and mixed culture of bacteria, fungi and yeast for bioprocess development at different scales, monitoring and control of key features in biological systems, analytical measurements, soft and hard modelling of metabolic networks and fluxes-rate based design.
Key Interests: Process engineering, biotechnology, bioremediation, sustainability and policy-making fields with insights into the most urgent environmental issues of our planet.
