Biography

Gabriele Goletto obtained a Master’s Degree in Data Science and Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin in 2021, achieving a final score of 110/110 with honors. For his master’s thesis, titled “EVEgo: Egocentric Event-data for cross-domain analysis in first-person action recognition,” he worked under the supervision of Barbara Caputo (Polytechnic University of Turin) and Matteo Matteucci (Polytechnic University of Milan). He was part of the Alta Scuola Politecnica, a program for outstanding students interested in innovation, and participated in various projects, including the European Innovation Academy course (2018), the School Of Entrepreneurship & Innovation (SEI) project (2021), and Innovation 4 Change at CERN IdeaSquare (2022).

Since January 2022, Gabriele has been a Ph.D. candidate in the VANDAL research group at the Polytechnic University of Turin, under the supervision of Prof. Barbara Caputo.
