Biography

Matia Torlini obtained his MSc degree on April 11, 2024, at Politecnico di Torino with a thesis titled "Enhancing Interoperability of Simulation Units through Ontology Annotation: A Case Study." Following graduation, he undertook a six-month research fellowship at the Energy Center Lab, which culminated in his enrollment in a PhD program under the DAUIN-EC umbrella. The fields of knowledge representation and semantic web technologies form the foundational pillars of his work, which aims to leverage these technologies to enable the deployment of large-scale co-simulations.
