The European Innovation Council: the Pathfinder and Transition instruments
This webinar will provide an overlook of Pillar III "Innovative Europe" of the Horizon Europe Programme, with particular reference to the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the EIC Pathfinder scheme, illustrating its main features as for research-driven disruptive innovation and highlighting the main opportunities offered to researchers by this funding instrument. The EIC Transition scheme will also be presented, in relation to the exploitation of EIC Pathfinder and ERC Proof of Concept research results.
The webinar will explain how to participate in the calls as well as the criteria and the evaluation process.
A specific session will be devoted to the Proposal Template of the EIC Pathfinder Open scheme.
The lecturer is Mr. Marta Calderaro, National Contact Point (NCP) in Horizon Europe for "Cluster 4 - Digital, Industry and Space", "European Innovation Council and European Innovation Ecosystems" and "Cluster 1 - Health" at the Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE).

THE TRAINER
Marta Celderaro
After a degree in Political Science, Marta Calderaro obtained a master degree in Digital Transformation at MIP Politecnico di Milano in September 2021 and a master degree in European Planning and Internationalisation of Enterprises at the Italian Society for International Organisation (SIOI). Since January 2013 she has been working for APRE, following international cooperation projects in the field of Information and Communication Technologies and cooperation between National Contact Points. She is currently the National Contact Point (NCP) in Horizon Europe for "Cluster 4 - Digital, Industry and Space" for which she is responsible for the Competence Team, "European Innovation Council and European Innovation Ecosystems", "Cluster 1 - Health" and she is part of the Competence Team related to EIT. As a trainer, Marta Calderaro has held several courses on Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, with particular focus on Cluster 4 and EIC programme.
