Ethics issues and ethics self-assessment in Horizon Europe proposals
The training will illustrate relevant ethics issues linked to research activities, particularly when funded by the European Commission.
A general overview will set the context and be followed by highlights of the most critical aspects of research proposals, which should be carefully examined in order to fulfill the ethics self-assessment requested by the EC.
Novelties and emerging features of Horizon Europe ethical assessment in comparison with previous research funding programs will be elucidated, including research themes which were not previously evaluated as ethically sensible, such as Artificial Intelligence.
The webinar, organised by the University of Turin (Università degli Studi di Torino) and open to the Politecnico di Torino and other universities and institutions, will be held in English by Ms. Lisa Diependaele, European Commission Policy Officer, Research Ethics and Integrity Unit - DG Research & Innovation.
Registration, through this Registration form, is compulsory.
You will not receive any confirmation message after the subscription. All subscribers will be given the link to connect to the webinar before the event.
Certificates of attendance will be made available upon request at the email address provided during the webinar.
