UNITE! International Workshop on Solar Energy and Renewable Energy Systems
Within the framework of the UNITE! European University Alliance, an international online workshop titled “Solar Energy and Renewable Energy Systems: From Photovoltaics to Concentrated Solar Power Applications” will be held on 2 July 2026.
The workshop is jointly organized by Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST), Politecnico di Torino (POLITO), and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).
The initiative brings together leading researchers from the three partner institutions to provide a comprehensive overview of modern solar energy technologies and their role in shaping future sustainable energy systems.
The event is designed to introduce participants to cutting-edge developments in photovoltaic systems, concentrated solar power (CSP), renewable energy integration, and innovative decarbonisation solutions. It will also showcase experimental facilities, research infrastructures, and industrial applications, highlighting the link between research and technology transfer.
Workshop Objectives
Participants will gain insights into:
This initiative represents an important opportunity for international networking and knowledge exchange among students, researchers, and professionals in the field of sustainable energy.
