The PhD candidates who contribute to the activities promoted by the interdepartmental centre FULL - Future Urban Legacy Lab adopt an interdisciplinary research approach. Within the centre, they have the opportunity to experiment a continuous sharing with the other competences through research-by-design methodologies.
The researches aims to develop strategies for the future of urban and territorial legacies on a local and global scale. Enhancing the research experiences of the DASP, they investigate new urban, territorial and landscape phenomena through the use of transversal methods of collaboration and experimentation, internationalization and confrontation, analysis and design, theory and practice.
Sharing this approach, the researches investigate different topics including housing (contemporary models of collaborative and emergency housing), GIS and AI applications In urban morphology studies, socio-technical aspects in transformation and reuse practices of the built heritage, the design of territories and energy landscapes.
