Biography

  • He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Engineering in 2016 and his Master of Science’s Degree in Nanotechnologies for ICTs in 2019.
  • His Master’s thesis focused on the potential uses of Zinc Oxide nanocrystals in combination with High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) for the generation of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) in order to develop an innovative therapy against cancer. He carried out his research work at the Applied Science and Technology Department (DISAT) of Politecnico di Torino and part of his experiments at the Acoustic Department of the Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica (I.N.Ri.M).
  • After graduation he undertook a period of research at DISAT in collaboration with the department of Advanced Materials Metrology and Life Sciences in I.N.Ri.M focusing on the fabrication activity of devices based on Hyperbolic Metamaterials.
  • In May 2020 he began his pre-doctoral period at DISAT in collaboration with I.N.Ri.M, where has refined lithographic techniques such as direct laser writing, deposition of superconducting thin film by DC Sputtering and thin metal and dielectric films by e-beam evaporator as well as etching processes by Reactive Ion Etching (RIE).
  • Since November 2020 he is a Phd student in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering (EECE) at Politecnico di Torino and carries out his research project in collaboration with the department of Advanced Materials Metrology and Life Sciences in I.N.Ri.M. The aim of his project is the development of low-dimensional superconducting structures (from nano to atomic scale) formed by Electromigration through Metal-Insulating-Metal structures with metrological and engineering purposes.
