Biography
As a PhD student, she joined the Optical Communication Group (OptCom) in Politecnico di Torino in November 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Carena. Her research activity focus on two main topics: mitigation of filtering effects due to cascading Reconfigurable Optical Add-Drop Multiplexers (ROADMs), her Master's degree topic, and machine learning applied in ultra-wide bandwidth Raman amplification.
She won a scholarship for the Subsea Optical Fiber Communications 2019 International Summer School, held in Polvijärvi, Finland, mainly organized by Google and the Optical Society of America (OSA) about subsea optical fiber communications. In March 2020 she was one recipient of the Corning Woman in Optical Communications Scholarship.
She is a member and president of the Torino OSA Student Chapter.
