Biography

I graduated in Architecture for Sustainable Design at Politecnico di Torino. I got a curricular internship in the Laboratory of Geomatics for CH (Cultural Heritage) of DAD.
I joined the Team DIRECT (DIsaster RECovery Team) of Politecnico di Torino. DIRECT involves students in training activity, both with frontal lessons and stages in the field. I took a survey stage as an opportunity to develop my MA thesis. II worked as a fellowship researcher to RESCULT (Increasing Resilience of Cultural Heritage), an international project funded by the European Civil Protection, involving the Geomatics team of Politecnico di Torino. I started my PhD period in Urban and Regional Development at Politecnico di Torino. My research theme deals with ontologies for spatial and geographical data. My main goal is to create an ontology to represent historical centres, villages and hamlets. Ontology lets different disciplines communicate and operate together in order to develop activities of restoration, valorisation and monitoring.
