Abstract
This FET Launchpad project is based on the promising results of FET-Open project, entitled BOHEME, which started on January 2020. After 9 months of collaborative research between UniTn and Multiwave, a very promising innovation idea, based on BOHEME results and which was not initially planned, came to our minds: what if we use the new computational software developed in BOHEME and the hierarchical metamaterials (MMs) concept to reduce noise in MRI? From a technical point of view, this project will focus on getting the right and precise quantitative information (about frequencies, dimensions, etc.) which will enable the design of a functional prototype after the project. Most of the activities will focus on the assessment of the potentialities of such an innovative idea by designing a market study.
