Abstract
MVSs are crucial to many high-value industries, where Europe is globally competitive, and to the EU objectives in terms of digital transformation and green deals. Nevertheless, further work is needed to: (1) achieve the traceability of existing and newly developed MVSs, (2) develop digital twins of MVSs based on data and physical driven models, (3) implement robust matching and evaluation algorithms for recorded raw data. The delivered tools combined with uncertainty evaluation methods will be applied throughout industrial applications on macro- and microscale specimens to reach better accuracy, productivity and flexibility as well as safer and cost advances.
