Abstract
AGRITECH project is an ambitious initiative aimed at transforming agricultural education by integrating Deep Tech (DT) domains such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and quantum computing into modern agricultural practices. By developing a comprehensive educational ecosystem that encourages collaboration, co-innovation, and interdisciplinary learning, AGRITECH is set to address the pressing skills gaps and mismatches in the agricultural sector. The project's core mission is to foster an environment where technical and non-technical skills merge, promoting creativity, co-creation, and entrepreneurship through the establishment of incubators within educational and training institutions across Europe and creation of the AgriTech Manager profile. AGRITECH's innovative approach involves the creation of multidisciplinary learning environments where students have the opportunity to engage in real-world projects and collaborate with partners in contemporary agriculture. This initiative places a strong emphasis on corporate social responsibility and sustainable development within the DT domains, enhancing the quality and relevance of skills certified through education and training systems. The project's primary objective is to prepare the next generation of professionals to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by advanced agricultural technologies. This will be achieved through the development of new teaching methods, assessment techniques, and learning resources that utilize emerging technologies and digital tools such as virtual and augmented reality, gamification, and adaptive learning. Furthermore, AGRITECH aims to cultivate essential skills and competencies like critical thinking and problem-solving, essential for success in the DT domains. By supporting Europe's innovation capacity, AGRITECH endeavors to instill a sense of initiative and entrepreneurial mindset among learners, educational staff, and all involved stakeholders.
