Abstract
Regenerative design seeks to put design and construction to work as positive forces that repair natural and anthropologic systems. This project is building on top of the work and research that Ramboll has been created within the Regenerative Design Thinking led by Prof. Hossein Rezai (Design Excellence Director) and the task force led by Veronika Petrova. The purpose is to expand on those aspirational goals and bring them into an applicable databased design methodology at the urban scale. We will quantify urban cross-disciplinary parameters, integrate the quantifiable aspect into the design process, and pilot them in an applied project. These actions combined will create a developable roadmap that can evaluate the regenerative potential of a project and what and how it can be measured. Ca 50 master students will work on Urbanregen over 2 semesters to create a circular loop between practice and research, PoliTo, Henning Larsen and Ramboll will work closely together.
