My academic path began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, obtained in July 2022. I then pursued a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, which I completed in March 2025 with a specialization in bionanotechnologies. During my Master thesis, carried out as part of the PACGEL European project (Grant agreement ID: 101067882), I focused on the development of chitosan-based hydrogels as regulatory systems for cardiac diseases, which allowed me to gain extensive hands-on experience in hydrogel synthesis. Following my graduation, I continued at Politecnico di Torino as a Post-graduate Fellow, where I contributed to the development of engineered in vitro models of human cardiac fibrotic tissue for the preclinical assessment of the safety and target efficiency of RNA nanotherapies, within the framework of the PNRR MERIT project (Mission 4) and also to the preclinical validation of polymer-lipid hybrid nanoparticles for a reprogramming therapy in post-infarct cardiac regeneration, within the framework of the PNRR RECHARGE project (Mission 4). This role enabled me to expand my expertise while developing skills in multidisciplinary teamwork.
