I am specialized in renewable energy resources, with a particular focus on geothermal energy. My research centers on advancing geothermal technologies and developing geological models to enhance the extraction of critical materials from high-enthalpy geothermal systems.
My project explores innovative approaches to analyze and improve existing extraction techniques, integrating them with geothermal energy production. This work begins with a comprehensive analysis of the critical minerals sector, examining current extraction challenges, the state of the art geothermal technologies, and regulatory frameworks. Through a combination of laboratory-based fluid analysis and geological-numerical modeling, I aim to identify and characterize geothermal sites with high potential for critical material extraction. My research also involves collaborating with industry partners to develop strategies that optimize the integration of material extraction with geothermal energy production, while addressing environmental impacts and fostering community engagement.
Beyond my research, I bring expertise in numerical simulation tools such as FEFLOW, as well as proficiency in GIS for georeferencing and spatial analysis. My interdisciplinary approach bridges geology, engineering, and environmental science to propose sustainable solutions for energy and material resource challenges.
Through this work, I aspire to contribute to the global transition toward clean energy systems and sustainable resource management. By addressing the technical, environmental, and societal dimensions of geothermal energy, I aim to advance this field as a cornerstone of the renewable energy landscape.
