Biografia

My research interests explore the intersection of critical urban studies, planning theory, and territories of extraction. This mainly with the objective of stepping beyond the political economy of advanced extractivism through radical spatial thought and everyday life practices. Currently I am part of the project HyperScapes: Extreme infrastructure projects and new forms of urbanity in the Anthropocene (FIS2). With my case study being the extractive territories of the Atacama Desert in Chile. My formation has been shaped through the interaction of social sciences and urban planning, participating in different academic contexts and political situations.
