Anouar Hallioui is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Energy (DENERG) at Politecnico di Torino (Turin, Italy). He was a remote international collaborator of INTI International University (Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia). He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Fez, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University (Fez, Morocco). He earned a State Engineer's Degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in Mechatronics Engineering from the same institution in 2017. In addition to his academic qualifications, Dr. Hallioui completed advanced professional training, including a Professional Certificate in University Teaching from The University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong, China), where he received pedagogical training aligned with global higher education standards, and a Professional Certificate in Organizational Analysis from Stanford University (California, United States), which provided deep insight into organizational theories and the behavior, structure, and design of complex organizations. He has had a varied and exciting early career, moving from different industries to academia. He has industrial experience as a Production Manager, Industrial Cleaning Project Manager, and Site Process works & EHS Manager for industrial corporations. His areas of interest include but are not limited to Resilient Energy Critical Infrastructures, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Industry 4.0, Engineering Management, Contemporary Business Management (Re-engineered 4th Generation Management), Systems Thinking, Systems Approach, System Analysis, Systems Theory, Industrial Critical Infrastructures, Sustainability, Resilience, Sustainable Development, Sustainable and 4.0 Energy Industry, Advanced Manufacturing Systems, Integrated Energy Systems, AI-driven Systemic Decision Making, Production Systems Dependability, Optimization of Systems Maintenance and Productivity in Different Industries, Circular Economy, Climate Change, Complex System Governance, Climate Governance, Risk Assessment, Safety Management, Sustainable and 4.0 Oil and Gas Industry, Organizational Analysis, etc. His research works in these fields have been published in the proceedings of international conferences and International Journals indexed in the highest-quality research databases (e.g., Scopus-Elsevier and Web of Science). On February 8, 2023, he won the "International Best Researcher Award on New Science Inventions." He is a professional member of the IEOM Society International. Furthermore, he is a member of the review board for many international journals, such as the Journal of Cleaner Production, Expert Systems with Applications, Discrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, Management and Production Engineering Review, the International Journal of Critical Infrastructures, Discover Sustainability, Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy, the International Journal of System of Systems Engineering, Circular Economy and Sustainability, etc. Additionally, he serves on the Editorial Board of Frontiers in Complex Systems as a review editor for the new journal, Control and Engineering of Complex Systems.
