Biografia

Enrico Piccinelli is a paediatric cardiologist at Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù in Rome and PhD student in bioengineering and medical science at PoliTO. His main interest is congenital interventional cardiology, which is also his field of research. He is author of more than 20 papers in international cardiology journals and often invited speaker in national and international conferences. Winner of a Marie-curie grant is now concentrating is research on 4D flow magnetic resonance and fluidodynamic in congenital heart disease as diagnostic and preoperative tool, with interest of neurodevelopment impact of these diseases. In the second year of his PhD he won with one of his research the prestigious “Young Investigator Award” from the Association for European paediatric and congenital cardiology (AEPC).
