Biography
Xiaoxu Liang’s research focuses on digital heritage, people-centred heritage conservation, urban regeneration, and evidence-informed cultural heritage management. She combines spatial analysis, digital technologies, and participatory approaches to investigate how heritage values are understood, transformed, and mobilised, and how cultural heritage can contribute to sustainable and resilient urban and territorial development. She also has extensive experience in Sino-Italian academic and research cooperation, contributing to the development of joint projects, research initiatives, and institutional collaborations between universities and organisations in the two countries.
