Biography

Temur Turgunboev received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Turin Polytechnic University in Tashken and his Master of Business Administration (MBA in General Management) degree from Putra Business School (University of Putra Malaysia). He is currently a PhD candidate in Management and Production Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. His research work focuses on the implementation opportunities of battery swapping systems in charging infrastructure of battery electrified public transpot network to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and user convenience with optimal parameters, particularly focusing on the context of Uzbekistan.
Temur’s academic and professional interests bridge engineering, sustainable energy, and process optimization. He is particularly passionate about batttery swapping system modeling in FlexSim simulation software and process optimization modeling wiht Matlab MILP solver in battery electric bus ecosystems. His vision is to accelerate the transition to clean mobility in Central Asia by integrating cutting-edge technological solutions with sustainable economic frameworks.
