Biography

Mohamed Amine Mbarek has earned a Master's degree in ICT for Smart Societies from Politecnico di Torino. Prior to that, he completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. During his Master's thesis, he developed a Multi-Task representation learning method that leverages deep learning and the pattern recognition capabilities of Self Organized Maps (SOM) for an enhanced forecasting of mobile traffic data. He is currently pursuing the PhD in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Michela Meo. His research focuses on integrating renewable power supply systems into telecommunication networks to enhance sustainability and resilience. I work on developing smart energy-aware mechanisms for resource allocation and designing resilient power systems to address challenges like climate emergencies, energy market instabilities, and cyber threats in communication infrastructures.
