Biography

He got his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering in September 2018 at Politecnico di Torino, which he obtained while being also one of the 200 students involved in the “Young Talent Project”, project which aimed at helping deserving students develop their potential.
In December 2020 he got his Master’s degree cum laude in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, with the thesis “JackTrip-WebRTC – Networked music performance with web technologies” supervised by prof. Antonio Servetti. The thesis focused on showing an alternative approach to peer-to-peer high quality and low latency audio streaming by exploring an unconventional solution based on WebRTC’s DataChannels. The code has been released as open source and it’s available on GitHub.
In January 2021 he got involved as a Reseach Fellow in the development of a proof of concept related to networked music performance (NMP), supervised by prof. Cristina Rottondi and prof. Andrea Bianco.
From November 2021 he’s a PhD student in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications (DET) of Politecnico di Torino, under the supervision of prof. Cristina Rottondi and prof. Andrea Bianco. His main research topic is Networked Music Performance (NMP).

Other interests he has involve music, piano, everything related to software development, Linux, Raspberry Pis and open source software
