Scientific interests: applied research in the field of materials (mainly ceramics, and their composites) for structural, high-temperature, and functional applications, particularly concerning non-conventional synthesis and characterization of pure and composite ceramic powders, development and characterization of porous ceramics; sintering and characterization of mono and multi-phased ceramic materials.
