Biography

I have an interdisciplinary background in physics, engineering, scientific computing, and quantum technologies. I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Physics and a Master’s Degree in Physics of Complex Systems from Politecnico di Torino. My Master’s thesis focused on variational imaginary-time methods for hard combinatorial problems, with particular emphasis on 3-SAT.
My research interests include quantum computing, quantum algorithms, combinatorial optimization, and quantum-inspired numerical methods.
My PhD research focuses on the development and analysis of quantum algorithms aimed at bridging the gap between NISQ devices and early fault-tolerant quantum computers. Particular attention is devoted to Satisfiability (SAT) problems in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), together with broader applications in combinatorial optimization and other industrially relevant domains.
The objective of my research is to identify quantum approaches that are both theoretically relevant and compatible with the capabilities and constraints of emerging quantum hardware.
