Biography

I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, from Politecnico di Torino in 2024. During my studies, I developed a strong foundation in advanced algorithms and machine learning, with a particular focus on practical and innovative applications.

I conducted a research project at the ASAC laboratory, focusing on the development of an AI system for real-time gesture recognition. The system was designed to detect the “Signal for Help” gesture integrating a low-computational-impact AI solution into surveillance cameras. This work, which culminated in the publication of a scientific paper, allowed me to deepen my expertise in machine learning algorithms, feature extraction, and real-time data processing.

Currently, I am pursuing a PhD at the ASAC group of Politecnico di Torino under the guidance of Professors Luca Sterpone and Sara Azimi. My research, titled “High-End AI-Enhanced Computing System for Space Application,” focuses on advanced machine learning techniques and neural network optimization to address the unique challenges of space applications. Motivated by my passion for space, I have participated in and won challenges organized by Politecnico di Torino in collaboration with NASA and other space agencies. These experiences have solidified my commitment to the field and provided valuable skills and insights.

Through this doctoral journey, I aim to contribute to cutting-edge AI solutions that revolutionize space technologies, leveraging my academic background, research experience, and passion for innovation.
