Biography

I received my bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2018. During my studies, I did a curricular internship in the Department of clinical engineering of ASL Città di Torino. I obtained my master’s degree in biomedical engineering with specialization in bionanotechnologies in 2020 at Politecnico di Torino with a thesis titled "Fabrication of a 3D printed model of the pancreatic acino-ductal unit for the in vitro Investigation of cancer progress". After a short experience as a research fellow, I started my Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Medical-Surgical Sciences ( XXXVII cycle) at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (DIMEAS) of Politecnico di Torino. My Ph.D. project aims to create a 3D bioprinted model of neural tissue for the in vitro investigation of spinal cord injury.
