Biography

Andrea Mazza (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. (Honors) and the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Politecnico di Torino (POLITO), Turin, Italy, in 2011 and 2015, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor (tenure track) at Politecnico di Torino and his research activities include distribution system optimization, distribution system reliability and resilience, decision-making methods applied to the electricity system, integration of distributed energy resources and power-to-X plants in the electricity grid, and optimal integration of multivector distribution systems (heat, gas, and electricity).
