Biography

Alice Re earned her bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Torino in 2021. She completed her master's degree in Physics of Complex Systems at the same university in 2024, with the thesis “A dynamical systems theory approach for gradient-free training of recurrent neural networks”.
Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. as a member of the System Identification and Control (SIC) group within the Department of Control and Computer Engineering (DAUIN) at the Politecnico di Torino.
Her main research interests include system identification, sparse optimization, optimization algorithms, and machine learning.
