Biography

Alberto Verna is a PhD student at Politecnico di Torino with a great passion for cybersecurity and data analysis, especially applied in the context of Web technologies.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering in 2022 from the same institution, where he built a strong foundation for programming and system design. He further advanced his expertise during his Master's degree, completed in 2024, specialising in cybersecurity.
His research lies at the intersection of privacy, data analytics and the Web, where he analyses existing Internet privacy solutions and aspires to develop new innovative strategies to improve online privacy and security. He mainly conducts his research at the SmartData@PoliTO interdipartimental center, where he collaborates with fellow PhD students and researchers.
