Biography
Born in Castellammare di Stabia (NA), 1982. Four children. Laurea triennale (bachelor degree) in Materials Science in 2004, at Università di Parma. Laurea magistrale (master degree) in Materials Science in 2006, at Università di Milano Bicocca. PhD in Materials Science in 2009, at Università di Milano Bicocca. Visiting scientist at the Department of Chemistry, University of Toronto (Mar-Oct 2008). Nov 2009 - Oct 2011: post-doc at Dipartimento di Fisica, Politecnico di Milano. Nov 2011 - 4 Feb 2018: Ricercatore (Assistant Professor) at Dipartimento di Fisica, Politecnico di Milano. Jul - Sep 2013: Tan Chin Tuan visiting professor, EEE, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Oct 2016 - Jan 2018: Affiliate at Molecular Foundry, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, California, USA. Feb 2018 – Jun 2023: Associate Professor at Dipartimento di Fisica, Politecnico di Milano. Jul 2023: Full Professor at Dipartimento DISAT, Politecnico di Torino.
