Biography

PhD candidate in Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering at Polytechnic of Turin. Main research interests: development of advanced space rovers mobility systems for planetary surface exploration and astronaut support with AI methods. The research is pursued in collaboration with Thales Alenia Space Italy. Previously trainee at Robotics and Mechatronics Center of the Deutsche Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt in Munich, where he contributed to the development of rover autonomous behavior for the ARCHES demo mission project. He was awarded a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Bologna in 2014 and a M.Sc. degree in Aerospace Engineering at University of Padova in 2021.
