Biography

Developing interests in geotechnical engineering and how to mitigate natural disaster risk mitigation in a four-year bachelor program in Civil Engineering at Mahindra Ecole Centrale. She completed a master's program in Civil Engineering for Risk Mitigation at Politecnico di Milano with a thesis focused on optimizing the mechanical behavior of the granular cushion layer in rockfall shelters through soil reinforcement.

Having acquired knowledge of numerical methods, constitutive modeling, and soil mechanical behavior, she started her Ph.D. at Politecnico di Torino. She is presently working on the geomechanical modeling of underground hydrogen storage. The main objective of the research is to investigate the response of the caprock to the strain field imposed by
the operations in the reservoir, and especially the hydrogen storage cycles.
